Pool Safety Checklist

Fence Heights to be min of 1.2m from ground.

No gaps anywhere to be > than 10cm

Gates need to latch in all Positions

Keep a min of 1.2m clear on the outside of your pool fence.

Keep a min of 300mm clear on the inside of your pool fence.

Check that gates do not stick to the ground/grass when fully opened.

Gate latches to be a min of 1.5m from the ground.

Remove all pots, BBQ and ornaments next to the pool fences.

Remove all vines from pool fences.

Check for taps, power points on the outside of your pool fence.

Make sure all windows in your pool area have screens

Make sure you have no doors opening into your pool area.

Check that your gates open outward - away from the water.

Check all screws and panels are secure.
